PADANG, kiprahkita.net - The Padang City Government expressed its appreciation for the "Cerdas Bersama Musik" performing class, an event organized by Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang.
The event, held at Plaza Andalas on Sunday (20/10/2024), showcased the musical talents of children trained at the studio.
"As an art enthusiast, I extend my gratitude to Purwa Caraka for training these children exceptionally well," said the Acting Mayor of Padang, Andree Algamar, who was accompanied by the Acting Chairperson of TP-PKK, Mrs. Vanny Andree Algamar, at the event.
Andree highlighted that Padang is home to talented children across various fields, including the arts. He emphasized that the children were not only focused on practice but also brave enough to perform in public.
"The children are trained to build confidence, enthusiasm, and intelligence through music. Music is a universal language that can be appreciated in any language," he explained.
In addition, Andree also praised the parents for their support of the young performers.
"Discipline is the key to success in life. I hope that we can realize the Golden Generation of 2045. This event provides a platform for young people to showcase their talents," he concluded.
The performing class was part of the celebration marking the 36th anniversary of Purwa Caraka.
The children displayed various musical skills, including vocals, drums, violin, piano, keyboard, and guitar performances. (kominfopdg)
