PADANG, kiprahkita.net - Acting Mayor of Padang Andree Algamar, praised the initiative by Padang's youth in launching Meets Indonesia, a tech-based mentoring platform aimed at developing human resources and reducing unemployment.
He expressed his appreciation during the platform's launch at CGV Padang on Friday, October 25, 2024.
"This application is tangible proof of the strong spirit within Padang's youth to contribute to the advancement of our beloved city," Andree remarked.
He encouraged Padang residents to utilize this platform as a means of learning and innovation. "Since it has been launched here in Padang, let’s, as residents, make good use of it," he urged.
Septian Dwijayanto, founder of Meets Indonesia, explained that the platform was created to connect experienced mentors with potential mentees, thus creating opportunities for Padang's younger generation to grow and develop. "We are here to bridge the gap between experienced mentors and those looking to advance in various fields," he explained.
He added that Meets Indonesia is equipped with features like automatic matching between mentors and mentees, mentoring programs, discussion forums, and educational materials.
"We believe that the right guidance can accelerate one’s career advancement and personal growth," he noted.
